Pontypridd Choral Society.
Who are they?
Founded in 1932 in Treforest. This mixed voice choir of around fifty members performs major religious works, operatic choruses and light music. An organidsation devoted to charity fundraising, the choral society has been a major part of the musical life of Pontypridd for decades.

Yes. Sunday 7pm to 9pm at Pontypridd Museum

Who are they?
Formed in 1951 by conductor Richard Williams, the choir rapidly increased its profile with celebrity concerts with the likes of Stuart Burrows and Geraint Evants. The performed at the Royal Albert Hall in 1965 and went on tour in 1967 to Czechoslovakia. They continued to give frequent radio and tv broadcasts, while touring France, Germany, Austria, Denmark and Ireland. The choir hosted the former Prime Minister of Japan during his visit to the rehearsal room. The choir continues to give frequent performances, many for charity, throughout the UK
