Porth
Porth really is the gateway to the Rhondda.
It stands at the confluence of the Rhondda Fawr and Fach.
Porth is the home of the Welsh Hills Works – for many years the home of Corona Pop. Now known as ‘the Pop Factory’ it is home to pop (and rock) of another kind.
Close by is Rhondda Heritage Park which commemorates the history of coal mining and coal mining societies in the Valleys.
