Nantgarw China Works Museum
Description
Nantgarw China Works Museum nestles in the village of Nantgarw. At the museum you will be able to view a collection of Nantgarw China and discover where this now world famous china was made. You can also see a bottle kiln, find out the history of The Glamorganshire Canal and discover the history behind the man who produced this famous china, William Billingsley.
Working Pottery in Nantgarw
There is also a working pottery on site where you can view the potter at work, the potter will be happy to talk to visitors about the making process. It will also be possible to have a go at throwing your own pot, which can then be fired for you at Nantgarw.
